Why #VR for Inspection Training?

Training future inspection professionals is becoming increasingly challenging.

Access to industrial facilities, equipment and qualified trainers is often limited, while safety considerations can restrict opportunities for hands-on practice.

Through VR-VET- Non Destructive Testing, we are exploring how Virtual Reality can complement traditional training by allowing learners to:
• Practise procedures repeatedly
• Learn in a safe environment
• Gain confidence before entering real industrial settings

At ECNDT 2026 - European Conference on Non-Destructive Testing, we will present our approach and share the first results obtained through pilot activities.
